The following images of South Africa, Lesotho and Mozambique were taken whilst on a three month African overland trip with Truck Africa in 1997. This second half of the trip started in Cape Town, South Africa. Before we departed I was able to spend a week enjoying what the city had to offer – The Cape of Good Hope, Table Mountain, Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden and Camp’s Bay. After travelling along the picturesque Garden Route, we paid a visit to Addo Elephant Park before making our way to the small mountain kingdom of Lesotho. Crossing back in to South Africa we spent some time viewing game in Kruger National Park before travelling on to Mozambique, known for its beautiful beaches (and landmines !). The trip came to an end in Harare, Zimbabwe. The photographs were taken using a Canon EOS 5 SLR camera and Fuji Sensia slide film (various speeds).
