The following images were taken in the autumn of 2006. Having completed an overland expedition from Beijing to Kathmandu, I spent some time visiting sites in the Kathmandu valley (Bhaktapur, Patan, Pashupatinath, Bodnath and Swayambhunath) and completed the 10 day Jomsom trek in the Himalayas. My visit coincided with the Dasain festival which features the biggest animal sacrifice of the year.
