Trained Fruit Trees

Fruit trees can be trained in to many different forms and this is often done where space is limited. Espalier, fan and cordon trained fruit trees can be used as a decorative feature against a wall or fence as well as producing heavy crops of fruit. Trained trees look particularly attractive during the spring when they are covered in blossom as this shows off the shape of the tree to its best effect.
